Choosing the best options for getting around will depend on both the time of year you visit and the activities you would like to participate in! Read on to find your transportation match.

Uber/Lyft
While Uber + Lyft are available, they are scarce. If you must use this method of transport try to schedule/book in advance to get the best rate. When surging, uber costs can run from $20 up to almost $200 at times!

Rental Cars
Rental cars are available at the airport (Hertz, Avis etc) or there are a few on turo that will even do airport drop-off/pick-up. If you plan to travel to many different locations throughout your trip for hiking, sightseeing etc, a rental car is recommended!
Our Air Bnb space has a covered garage below the condo which can be very helpful during snowy winter months!

Shuttles (to Steamboat Ski Resort)
You can shuttle from our Air BnB directly to the Steamboat Ski Resort during the winter months! Just walk across the street to the Meadows Parking Lot and shuttles come by every 10 -20 minutes.

Local Transit (to downtown Steamboat)
Steamboat does have a transit service and free bus. It is year-round service from downtown Steamboat to the Steamboat Ski Resort base. The bus runs every 20 minutes and can be accessed from our Air Bnb by taking the shuttle to the Ski Resort, then transferring to the downtown shuttle .
