Rocky coastal area & tidal pools teeming with small fish for snorkeling, plus showers & restrooms. Bring your mask and boots(no need for fins). It is very shallow for some places, so I would say it is perfect for kids as well. But there are some sharp rocks, parking is limited, arrive early as possible, unless it is not crowded. Summer time is great for swimming and snorkeling. Wintertime surf is pretty rough. Often times the beach is roped off during the winter.

Great snorkeling. Go to the far end where the deep water meets the road. that's the best entrance. Great snorkeling.

This is a great spot for people that are learning how to snorkel. the water tends to be very shallow though during the low tide which usually happens in the morning. If you show up during the low tide it's almost impossible to swim. You want to check at the tide times before you leave to try to figure out when the best time would be to show up to snorkel. Be careful, it's rocky!
