【10min by walk】Kyoto Imperial Palace used to be the residence of Japan's Imperial Family until 1868, when the emperor and capital were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo.
Kyoto Gyoen (Kyoto Imperial Palace Park) is the green heart of Kyoto. This huge park can be entered free of charge, 24 hours a day. It’s popular with runners, walkers, romantic couples, picnickers, plant lovers and anyone who just wants to escape the concrete and neon of the city. This park is well worth a visit.
A perfect spot for a gateway from the hustle and bustle of the city and have a nice relaxing walks and just simply chill ;-)
