Crystal Cascades is a series of water holes and waterfalls in a section of Freshwater Creek only a short 20-minute drive from Cairns Central District. Their pools stay cool throughout the year even in the warmer months. You can enjoy the barbecue facilities and swim there.

Crystal Cascades is one of the secrets of Tropical North Queensland. A secluded freshwater swimming hole hidden in a tropical rainforest, it has a series of small waterfalls that flow into large pools. Park facilities include electric BBQs, picnic tables and a toilet block.
