Blacksmith is the best bar in downtown Redwood City. They often have a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights, but no dance floor. Occasional live music on Thursdays. They have a cool outdoor patio and great cocktails.

I like this bar & lounge for their cocktails and frequent live music. Modern space with some leather couches and a brick fireplace. Nice outdoor sidewalk seating / socializing area as well.

It’s one block away and very lively throughout the week. Great drinks and outdoor area that connects with the street (which is closed off to cars and fills up completely on the weekends, with people dining, drinking, etc.)
