The L train takes you to Williamsburg (Bedford/Lorimer Ave stops), East Village (1st/3rd Ave stops, Union Square, Greenwich Village (6th Ave) and West Village (8th Ave). You can catch the B38 bus northbound if you don't feel like walking to the station.
