considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Erie county. restful and relaxing. it is a little walk to the beach but parking is free and there are clean bathrooms.

It's about a 40 minute drive but well-worth it. The giant sand dunes are amazing. And the largest local beach, Woodlawn, is located next to a sewage treatment plant. Buffalo's storm and sanitary sewers are combined. That means everytime it rains, the plant is overwhelmed and raw sewage is dumped into Lake Erie. It's not as sexy as wars or expressways, but this is certainly some infrastructure that we need to invest in.
