Le Zie means "the aunts", and it quickly becomes apparent why. The food is exactly how you imagine a kitchen full of Italian aunties would prepare food...using only the best ingredients in a simple, unfussy style. It's hard to describe how something as simple as potatoes and peppers can taste so good. A favourite dish is the chick pea pasta, but save room for the molten chocolate cake.

ENGLISH: a very typical and traditional little restaurant called "trattoria", that's to say good food at reasonable price. ITALIANO: tipica trattoria leccese molto famosa e apprezzata.
