A short drive away, see views all over Chorley and beyond. You can see the sea and Blackpool Tower on a clear day.

You can park at the viewpoint and see all the way to Blackpool tower on a good day. It’s a vicious incline, so be ready for a quick low gear change. There’s also a quarry at the top on the other side of the road that you can have a little walk around, be careful of the steep edges though. There’s sometimes an ice cream van here. My mum allegedly was walking around here with her friend when it had been snowing. There were some kids sledging down the hill on lilos. Mum of course, joined in and made everyone laugh.
