This is one of our favorite hiking areas to experience riparian, grasslands and oak woodlands all within a 3 mile hike.

This is my favorite 2.5 mile loop. Half of the hike is along the American River and the other is through the trees. Much of the hike is shaded and there is a composting toilet available.
