Interesting museum with a good children's section, toys etc and a good garden. Near to Launceston Castle. I think it is free entry but might be worth checking.
Fine Georgian house built in 1753, located in a street which John Betjeman described as "having the most perfect collection of 18th Century townhouses in Cornwall". Owned by the National Trust and leased to Launceston Town Council, who use it to house the town museum, and as a civic centre. A really interesting visit. See how the first county councils were formed. beautiful gardens and castle walls. intersting dolls and toys. great to get a sense of history
