This rainforest is situated in Southern Province and many endemic animals and plants are living in the forest. This forest is identified as a biosphere reserve in 2004 by the UNESCO. 1 hour drive.

This is one of the many rain forests in Sri Lanka.If you are a nature lover who wants to spend some time away from busy towns this is a perfect getaway. There is a 14 KM hike into the forest while passing several waterfalls and different kinds of species. Also this includes a ticket at the entrance.
