Upper Kananaskis Lake Trail is a 15.3 kilometer heavily trafficked loop trail features a small waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Be sure to have proper footwear, particularly if you go before the snow melts. Alberta government now charges a daily use fee for "the K Country" so be sure not to overlook it.

Although a bit far away, but believe me it’s rewarding! Easy trail with magnificent view of the lake, waterfall, and mountains beyond. Family friendly.

Hike around the lake, see the small falls into the lake. picnic areas, boat launch, hiking trails and more.
