This huge park has the most incredible history—Henry VIII used to hunt here, and the Royal Ballet school is situated in the middle. It’s great for a run or long walk as there are wild deer roaming about and coffee stalls dotted around for when you want a break. One of our favourite places. Go and meditate by Pen Ponds at sunrise or sunset. It’s so peaceful and still.

People visit this huge park to see the deer who live there. After wandering around you can head to Richmond Town. Wander along the Thames and get a Sunday roast at one of the many pubs.

Great park by the river - not as far away as it sounds via the Overground
