Markleeville survived the Tamarack fire. She's worth a day trip! Check that the hot springs are open: there's a hot pool and a cold pool.

Nice natural hot springs, for relaxing in the natural outdoors. Historical and highly economical. If you enjoy hot springs, this is a must on your list.

Simple, natural/developed hot springs with 2 pools, showers, camping, hiking, waterfall, river and meadow. No amenities, cash only. Closest town Markleeville with all the basics.

Wonderful place to bring your whole group for a hot springs experience. It's a state park where they've built two concrete pools — one with natural hot springs water, and another with chlorinated 80º water. Bathrooms and showers are on site. Markleeville is a funky little town too, so fun to mix with a lunch or dinner there.

Located just outside the quaint town of Markleeville, this little hot spring boasts great views at a good price. There's a few trails in the area and a couple of restaurants back in town worth visiting, too. Unpretentious and family friendly.
