Beautiful cherry blossoms so picturesque. Enjoy a family brunch or picnic in this beautiful garden. A five minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk or bike from your stay. Just head south on Hemo Road toward Te Puia and turn right at the round about which takes you on Springfield Road then make a turn to your left on Mokoia Drive. About 300 metres up the hill and just past Toi Ohomai Institute there is an entrance way to your right. Go down the driveway and follow the road to the gardens.

Particularly spectacular late September when the Cherry Blossoms are out and in autumn. This is a fabulous and relatively unknown park.

The park is free to visit and includes a BBQ, picnic tables and toilets. The park has over 20 hectares of rolling landscape on the slopes.
