Rated Number 3 on Trip Advisor, this local favourite is a 10minute drive from us but well worth the effort top get there.

Top notch pub food on a beautiful lake on the other side of the Woodhead pass. (approximately 25 minute drive) Picturesque walks any time of year. (Margery Hill walk is recommended) Tim and Vanda, the owners are very accommodating! PUB CLOSES BETWEEN 3 and 6 pm and on Mondays

This is a True North pub (a Sheffield brewery) offering traditional decor and decent food - especially the pies! Casual dining and good for lunch too.
