Local vineyard on the river dart. Excellent cheeses and wines. Lovely walks from the vineyard. The wine tasting tour is also worth trying if you have an afternoon spare.

If you are interested in wine (or even just enjoy drinking it) a trip to the Sharpham Vineyard is highly recommended. Prebooking is required for their vineyard tours and tastings, but they are extremely reasonably priced, informative, and generous with their tastings! To make the most of it they also have a restaurant on site with delicious food, or you can also enjoy their Sharpham cheeses.
