Can't beat this lodge for it's century old charm. Warm up by the rustic fireplace with a hot toddy or chili. Sometimes I ask for the wifi code and just hang here for a while!

Their restaurant, The Lakefront, is spectacular. Food is absolutely delicious and if you can sit outside on the patio, do! Definitely a more expensive meal, but we are always thrilled and full when we leave. Reservations recommended.

Cross-country skiing at its finest. Cost money but is groomed and tracked for cross country skiers, takes you to the upper lakes. Closed during the summer
