Definitely a favourite with both locals and visitors, complete with cafe & Mediterranean vibes. However just be aware that the sand is coarser and the beach profile much steeper, meaning it becomes deep much more abruptly and may therefore not be as suitable for young children as most beaches in the area which are flatter

Blackpool Sands is just minutes in the car from Norton Park. Local buses also stop at Blackpool Sands. This shingle and golden sand beach is popular with families and couples and provides enough space for beach games. When you get peckish there is food and refreshments available from the restaurant on the beach.
