Mart is the most popular public transportation system I know of. They have lightrails and buses. The closest station from the property is about 10 minutes away. It will take you into downtown, midtown, buckhead, north, south, but it does not travel east or west, not that you would wan't to!

The Georgia State MARTA Station is an elevated station at 170 Piedmont Avenue SE on the blue and green rail line. It is directly connected to the Sloppy Floyd State Building on the eastbound train platform.

Lindbergh, Buckhead or Lenox Station are close by. 7 day MARTA pass may be $23. You can't run a car on that price.

Uber is big in Atlanta and I use it regularly when I am here. I would recommended downloading the app before arrival. There are also local city taxis, though they take a bit longer to arrive.
