Who knew back in 1916, when James Mallis opened the first Nu-Way Weiner stand on Cotton Avenue in Macon, Georgia, that he had created a chili dog that would become an eating obsession? The obsession continues today, and Nu-Way still serves the same secret recipe chili sauce and private label weiners. We also feature the famous MegaBurger® and are open early for breakfast. We invite you to try our famous hot dogs and other fine foods at our nine locations in Central Georgia and experience the traditional taste of Nu-Way. Open since 1916, Nu-Way Weiners is one of America's oldest hot dog stands and has been featured on the PBS special "A Hot Dog Program" as well as in Gourmet, Money and Southern Living magazines. The original store with its trademarked misspelled neon sign, cozy booths and stainless lunch counter with swivel stools is still in operation today, continuing to serve the same secret recipe chili sauce and private label weiners that have won hearts the world over. Try their famous hot dogs, Mega-Burger and other sandwiches washed down with a Coke over their famous flaky ice or an old fashioned chocolate malt at the historic downtown location and eight others in Central Georgia.

Nu-Way is breakfast and hot dog/hamburger place that has been in Macon since 1916. Oprah went to Nu-Way when she came to Macon. You will want to go to the store on Zebulon Rd. I could only pull in the Northside store to this Guide Book. This Nu-Way is right in front of the AmStar 16 Theater. It is 5.5 miles away.
