Tourists rarely visit this forest in central Nairobi, but it’s more than a thousand acres and is full of walking and running trails. There’s a pair of nesting hornbills here, so if you’re into birds, this is the place to come. I like to take a guide when I go as they’re so knowledgeable and can spend the day pointing out different species. Visit the nursery and buy indigenous tree seedlings, or plant a tree during your visit.

Amazing spot to go for a walk/run, read book, meditate and connect with nature. I find it very peaceful and calming
Anyplace that gives one fresh air and relaxation is admirable. This place is great for that. you can come here to Jog, walk or sit and admire the forest and the huge fish pond as you listen to the birds hamming and singing. If you are a green hand you may visit the plants and flower nursery. across the road there is an indigenous tree nursery and beekeeping institute. here you are welcome to buy the plants and the natural bee products including honey.
