s petting a shark on your bucket list? It is now. Your group will beam with delight as they touch a starfish at Ocean World aquarium. The aquarium has been in operation since 1964 and is a regional gem. Open seven days a week, you may need to go back and watch the sea lions’ playful, high flying performance again.

Especially good for children. Hands on tide pools, petting tank and educational tours. Does charge admission. Gift shop. They also do work to support marine life rehabilitation and preservation.

This is a fun place to check out with the kids. You’ll be surprised by how much there is to see for an aquarium in such a small town. They have a touch pool, large fish tank area with lots of different critters, as well as some seals they do a special show with. They also have a great gift shop! Definitely a great place to stop by if it’s a rainy day or if you or anyone you’re travelling with is really into sea critters.

This place brings you up close and personal with the creatures of the sea. Beware of the gift shop it is big and children will ask you for everything there! If you want to avoid a wait you should call ahead.
