Sip on cocktails while gazing at jellyfish, an albino alligator, and other creatures in the aquarium. Arrive early to score planetarium tickets, and don’t miss the rainforest housed inside a 90-foot glass dome. Don’t be afraid to wear fancy threads to this. Check the website for that week’s theme, because the museum goes all out with decor and drinks to match.

This place is amazing. Truly. Slap-bang in the middle of Golden Gate Park. Kids love it, adults love it. If you have the time I would highly recommend going. The butterfly sanctuary is next-level. The albino crocodile is cool, too. Make sure you book ahead. It can get busy at the weekends. Take a walk in Golden Gate park after.

they have nightlife almost every Thursdays and it's for 21+ as alcohol is being served. you can see the museum in a different light with music at the background and great alcohol to go with.
