SO many track options for mountain biking, walking, running .. The Harry El track is a good family friendly wander up to the summit road with nice views over the city and towards the mountains (especially around sunset) Grab a coffee or ice cream from Sign of the Kiwi cafe at the top. There is handy parking to start your walk around the Victoria Park dog park.

Want great views of Christchurch.. great picnic spot. heaps of walking tracks.. you can even get there by bus.
