Sham Shui Po is an old part of Hong Kong. It has an interesting mix of computer shops, mobile phone, electronics flea market and shopping mall. Areas of interest include: the Golden Shopping Centre (computer gadgets and games), Dragon Centre (clothing store and food court) - this is popular among young locals, and Ap Liu street (a street level flea market comprised of electronics, mobile phones, batteries, etc.)

Sham Shui Po is the best street shopping and food heaven because everything is accessible by the MTR rail at cheap wholesale prices, super local, and there are specialised streets for almost everything under the sun! (It's also less "touristy" and very local) Buttons, beads, ribbons, fabric, toys, electronics, computer gadgets, dumpling stores, clothes, bags, statues, jade, jewelry, accessories, tools, arts and crafts, you name it, they have it! Recommended shops: Golden Computer Arcade Yu Chau Street Fuk Wa Street Dragon Centre (ice skating and fun shops) Best local food hands down!
