A little further out of town but a great selection of outdoor hot pools with cafe.

The thermal pools are very clean and are drained and refilled every night. Situated 25 minutes south of Rotorua off SH5, perfect place to relax and unwind. The largest single source of 100% pure geothermal water in NZ. There is also a cafe on site.

Our favorite hot pools. These are located 30 minutes out of town and you will need your own transport to get there. They are in the middle of no where, cheaper than the town pools and usually more quiet. They have a restaurant and sell beer, what more could you want?
